all of my friends are anarchists, queers, organic farmers, computer geeks or musicians. some of them fall into more than one of those categories. i wish i could land in at least ONE of those squares, but alas, i still defy labeling. i know a punk & a hippy. they hate each other, i think, though they have several good friends in common (like me). i think i'm somehwere in between. i have combat boots AND tevas. and they're equally worn out. i'm an atheist AND an animist.
i recently decided i like Kant, and even though he writes pretentiously annoying runon sentences that really could have been said in like 7 words - which i suppose is meant to give you a sense of accomplishement when you decipher it - he had a lot of really radical interesting things to say.
i recently started a school in my house - The Ashuelot River Free School. i'm poly. i drink lots of beer and coffee. i like beads & shiny sparkly things, birch trees & crow feathers, rocks & wildflowers.
